Welcome to the Barefoot NRA
Barefoot Resort Nonresidential Association represents the planned development of neighborhoods and commercial areas within Barefoot Resort and Golf outside of the BRRA (Barefoot Resort Residential Association). The BRRA and Barefoot Joint Committee were established with documents recorded in April 2000. The Nonresidential Association (NRA) properties were recorded a year later on July 25, 2001.
The NRA is made up of the North Tower Condominiums, the three Yacht Club Villas, The Retreat at Barefoot Village, the Fire Station (non-dues paying), Conference Center at Barefoot Resort, Care Now, Century 21 Offices, the Shops at Barefoot Village, Seaglass Cottage Apartment Homes and the Barefoot Marina.
The Joint Committee has a Board of Directors consisting of five members. Three members represent the NRA and two members represent the BRRA. The NRA pays fees to the Joint Committee as does the BRRA.
Barefoot Resort and Golf (BRRA and NRA) neighborhoods were developed throughout four top-rated golf courses – Dye, Fazio, Love, and Norman. All four champion golf courses officially opened on April 13, 2000, a feat said to be the first such venture in history. The four golf courses are owned and operated totally independently of all Barefoot Associations. Putters Pub and the driving range building are part of the courses. The golf courses do, however, have voting power and pay dues to the BRRA.
All Barefoot residents enjoy the proximity to Barefoot Landing, just across the historic swing bridge. Barefoot Landing is set along the Intracoastal Waterway and offers fantastic dining, shopping and an entertainment village for the entire family which includes “live” music, a playground, and a carousel.
